Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave, and Oatmeal

2021-01-12

Notes

20210112 In #WallaceAndGromit's #ACloseShave, Wallace has a launcher for quick breakfast oatmeal (or more precisely, porridge — oatmeal thickened with soy milk and the like). The problem is it works a little too well. As a result, the launcher later ends up doubling as a weapon for catching the villain. Honestly, isn't that basically #CES2021-level tech? Pour cashew soy milk over oatmeal, mix in chia seeds, cinnamon, honey, and cherries that have been soaking in Havana rum, and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, take out the overnight oats that have set overnight and eat them (today) with blueberries on top. *Recipe from 29cm's weekly essay, 'What Happened to the Oats While We Were Asleep?'
