While eating my #AcaiBowl, I thought about a friend to share it with — but I think acai bowls are probably better enjoyed alone.

Besides, patbingsu is a dessert of cooperation and friendship. First, you have to gently coax and scoop from all sides of the ice mountain with your spoon; second, there must be no mishap of spilling the contents outside the bowl; and third, the ratio of toppings to ice must run out perfectly together down to the very last spoonful. If only ice is left and the stage ends on a bland note, that's such a letdown! If you have a friend who can get through all of the above with you, without a word, just through eye contact alone — that friend is a true soulmate!
