Pour olive oil into the pan and lightly sauté chopped purple onion, carrot, celery, and garlic, then roughly chop in the prettiest tomatoes in the world and add them. Stir in a bit more store-bought tomato sauce and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes, then plate with parmesan and pepper pepper pepper. #PomodoroPasta
The video was filmed in Jeonbuk's Gimje, Juksan-myeon — once a bustling crossroads where a five-day market used to be held. But as a new highway opened, the village gradually lost its vitality. A Korean YouTuber who had moved to Juksan-myeon asked pianist Yuhki Kuramoto to give a live performance set against the rural village.
He even made the extremely difficult request that Kuramoto play at dawn, right as a new day was breaking, to give the villagers the feeling of a fresh day beginning.
Born in 1951 and seventy this year, Yuhki Kuramoto traveled all the way down to Gimje and stayed awake from 3 a.m., waiting for the right moment to play. He gave everything to make that single, one-time morning land perfectly. In the pitch-black pre-dawn dark, he played one of his signature pieces, 'Dawn.' Ten minutes into the performance, the sky turned red. Afterward, he played more of his signature songs in a nearby barley field.

(During the performance) the behind-the-scenes footage carried a striking line: 'Everyone held their breath — only the swallows filling the street seemed thrilled.'
