Notes

20250921 #breakfastdiary 1515, 18°C/partly cloudy, 20 min exercise (M) The climate crisis always arrives first for the powerless. Animals with no language to demand cooling in their barns; elderly farmers who go out worrying about the midday sun to check on crops they've tended their whole lives; workers who sort and deliver parcels and work construction sites, among them migrant workers in especially vulnerable positions — they collapse, they die. When Seoul flooded in the summer of 2022, poor people living in semi-basement rooms died. Climate disaster is not fair. There are always people pushed to the front line of natural disasters first, and the first to be forgotten once the crisis passes. (Jeong Bo-ra, Let's Shout Climate Justice Together) Once again, I look back at whether I've been fueling the climate crisis and climate disasters in my own daily life. Sunny-side-up egg and potatoes with ricotta cheese brightened with lemon juice, about 400 kcal.
