Queen's "Love of My Life" has a great piano and guitar intro, but I think the real high point is the harp at the very end of that intro. It'll be a warm comfort for a day that felt like it went pretty poorly. The same goes for a warm bread salad. 847kcal Warm Bread Salad
Ingredients
1 small ciabatta, raisins, almonds, olive oil, red wine vinegar, chives, garlic, salt, pepper, crown daisy, (dressing) 2T olive oil, 1T white wine vinegar
Steps
1. Add 1T red wine vinegar to 1T warm water, then add 1T raisins and let them soak briefly.
2. Chop the almonds with a knife and lightly toast in a pan.
3. Mix 2T olive oil and 1T white wine vinegar to make a vinaigrette dressing.
4. Tear the ciabatta by hand into a mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, mix evenly, and roast in a 220°C oven for 15 minutes.
5. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté chopped chives and thinly sliced garlic.
6. In a mixing bowl, combine the bread from step 4, the drained raisins from step 1, and the almonds from step 2, add red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper, cover with foil, and bake in a 220°C oven for 15 minutes.
7. Put the mixture from step 6 in a bowl, add crown daisy, and mix evenly. Drizzle with vinaigrette dressing.
