DeepSeek's shockwave, which wiped out 847 trillion won of Nvidia's market cap, has been at the center of controversy for the past few weeks. I read an article summing up its secret as optimization — meaning, combining and refining existing technology well.

At the end of that article, the word "Kaizen" came up, a term I'd heard often long ago. Kaizen is the core of Toyota's production system in Japan, meaning continuous improvement.
Roasted sweet pumpkin has shown up in my breakfasts quite a few times, and it's constantly being improved based on Kaizen.
Today I boosted the nuttiness using ghee and toasted walnuts. #roastedsweetpumpkin, dipped in tomato sauce

1. Heat olive oil in a pot, sauté the minced garlic and onion, then add the can of whole tomatoes. Add salt, pepper, and herbs and simmer gently. (This is tomato sauce I made last weekend — obviously a store-bought sauce works too.)
2. Toast the walnuts in a pan. This bumps up the nuttiness by about a million times.
3. Melt butter in a heated pan, add pepper and herbs, and roast the pumpkin.
4. Pour the tomato sauce onto the plate, top with the roasted pumpkin, toasted walnuts, and parmesan cheese.

Q. With dressing it's 669kcal, without it's 300kcal. Give up the calories or give up the flavor? 😃
