Perilla Oil Tofu

And now, add the smell of tofu frying in perilla oil. Take a block of tofu, pat it dry, and cut it into thirds. In a hot pan, add a generous pour of perilla oil from Okhee's Mill @okhee_mill and fry the tofu. (Turning it to fry one side at a time keeps its shape intact and makes for a prettier result.) Plate it and top with chopped perilla leaves, sesame seeds, and a little soy sauce — a breakfast that's as good to smell as it is to eat.
