Nightmare Before Christmas Spaghetti

While the spaghetti cooks, picture Jack's face (the skull) and carve eyes and a mouth into some button mushrooms. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the mushrooms with salt and pepper, then set aside. In the pan, sauté olive oil and minced garlic, add the spaghetti with a splash of pasta water, stir in the pesto, then — oh, right — a knob of butter. Plate it up with the Jack-faced mushrooms and some chopped basil~ Are you a Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas fan?
