20250427 #breakfastdiary 1384, 15°C/cloudy, 20 min/exercise (M) "It might seem like I can decide my own success or failure, but there's so much in this world beyond my control. If that weren't true, why would there be superstition woven into fermented foods? You put soybean paste in a jar and tie a straw rope woven with things twisted into it, right? Making that kind of wish is entrusting the part that a person simply cannot handle. Because the rest belongs to the domain of microbes and environment. I can't control everything. All I can do is accept that, let go, and wait." (Cho Hee-sook, Cho Hee-sook: The Teacher of Chefs, "It's still Korean food even if you put shaved ice on sikhye or abalone on pine nut porridge," @longblack.co) There's always so much beyond our control in life. We try our best, but often all we can do is hope it turns out well. About 442kcal #cabbagechardapplesalad
