Avocado and cacao are a combo often used for chocolate desserts like avocado chocolate mousse. Since this is breakfast, though, I'm only adding a touch of sweetness.
I meant to use just half an avocado, but the texture wasn't quite right, so I added the other half. Avocado is mostly monounsaturated fat, but it's still fat, so for the sake of macro balance half an avocado would have been the better call - though adding the other half didn't change the texture all that much anyway.
About 290kcal Cacao Avocado Sourdough Toast
1. Toast the sourdough without oil until crisp. It gets even crisper as it cools slightly.
2. In a blender, combine 4T Greek yogurt, 1 avocado, 2t oligosaccharide syrup, and 2t cacao powder, and blend until smooth.
3. Spread the avocado cacao Greek yogurt from step 2 on the sourdough.
4. Top the sourdough from step 1 with cacao nibs, blueberries, and cranberries.
