Halloween Apple

(Halloween Special) A festival held every October 31st in the English-speaking world. The widely known spelling is 'Halloween,' though per the Korean loanword romanization rules it would technically be written 'Haelrowin.' (Namuwiki) But to us, '할로윈' is the familiar form. In Catholicism, November 1st is 'All Saints' Day,' so the story goes that the souls of the dead would wander the streets on October 31st, the eve of that feast day — and that's how Halloween came to be. Not entirely baseless, it seems. Still, since everyone's on edge right now, it's probably best to avoid going out for Halloween this year.
