Notes

20250726 #breakfastdiary 1464, 25°C/mostly cloudy There's a breakfast that finishes itself all alone overnight, standing proudly on its own, a testament to a night well spent maturing. Overnight Oats, or 'ONO' for short. Pour milk, yogurt, etc. in the right ratio over oatmeal the night before, tuck it in the fridge, and the next morning the dry, papery texture is gone entirely, replaced by a wonderful breakfast where the oats, milk, and yogurt have become one, melting away in your mouth like cotton candy, whispering 'it's me, oatmeal.' Adding fresh fruit on top would be even better, but if circumstances aren't ideal and all you've got lying around is wilting fruit, cook it down into a compote and add a bit on top. It's shockingly delicious. (My breakfast diary — the night makes a better breakfast) On my way out the door early for a business trip, a roughly 750kcal green grape overnight oatmeal that last night made for me
