Tuna fish sauce is the perfect companion to breakfast pasta. 450kcal, Green Onion Pasta.
Ingredients
1 serving pasta (spaghetti), 1 green onion (white part only), 2 cloves garlic, a little crushed red pepper flakes, 1T tuna fish sauce, a little grana padano
Steps
1. Once the water boils, add salt and the pasta, and cook.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté thinly sliced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes.
3. Cut the green onion, mostly the white part, into 5cm lengths, then slice lengthwise once, and add to the pan from step 2 to sauté. Set aside half for topping.
4. Add the pasta from step 1, a ladle of pasta water, and 1T tuna fish sauce to the pan from step 3, and cook. Turn off the heat and mantecare (finish by vigorously stirring in the pan).
5. Plate and top with green onion and grana padano.
