20251204 #breakfastdiary day 1578, -10°C/clear, 20 min/exercise (M) Kummerspeck — literally 'grief bacon' — refers to the weight gained from overeating due to negative emotions. Eating out of sadness, eating out of depression, eating out of anger, eating out of irritation, eating out of frustration — it might offer momentary comfort, but reaching the end of the road and confronting a body that's ballooned from stress-eating is a painful, unpleasant thing. Still, isn't it fine to eat as much as you want of this 425kcal per serving #BroccoliChickenBreastOrzo?

Ingredients

1 cup orzo, 1/2 broccoli, 1t seafood stock powder, 1T shredded emmental cheese, 1/2 portion (store-bought) chicken breast

Steps

1. Blanch 1/2 broccoli in salted boiling water. 2. In a pot, combine 2 cups orzo, 300ml water, and 1t seafood stock powder, and simmer for about 10 minutes. 3. Once the liquid has reduced, add the broccoli, 1T shredded emmental cheese, and 1/2 portion of chopped store-bought chicken breast.
