"I've never once told anyone I 'failed.' It was simply a mistake. These days, young people use that frightening word — 'failure' — far too often. When we resist the word 'failure,' we become able to enjoy our mistakes and our pain."
(Kim Chang-il, terminal business owner, one of the world's top 100 collectors, on the artist C-Kim's dream)
Failure isn't something to fear (doesn't Finland even have a Day for Failure?), but it doesn't need to be a constant refrain either.
1. Blanch store-bought water dumplings in boiling water, then plate them.
2. Mix 3T water, 1T soy sauce, 1T vinegar, 1T sugar, and a splash of sesame oil for the dressing, and pour over the dumplings. Finish with chopped scallion.
