Cold and Passion Between Us: Open Sandwich

20201224, I don't know. I don't know when, or how much, one is supposed to open up. Some people left tired because I never opened up enough; some were startled off because I opened up too soon. Some never got to know me because I opened just a crack, and other times I wore myself out by opening too wide. Whether by chance or by necessity, here we all are now, like a small miracle built out of hard choices and everything that followed from them. I find myself thinking about opening up more. And fittingly, today's breakfast is an 'open' sandwich. Melt butter in a pan and toast the bread warm on both sides. Top with Greek yogurt, apple, almonds toasted in the pan, and a little honey. #OpenSandwich
