My chest felt tight around the solar plexus area. My hands and feet were cold. I must have an upset stomach. What went wrong? I finally got home, took some medicine, and went to bed earlier than usual. Waking up this morning, I feel a bit better.
Someone once said that getting old is like living every one of 365 days with that same upset-stomach feeling. It's probably like going through daily life carrying the kind of ache you get from a sprained ankle. Only now, at this age, do I vaguely understand why my grandmother always had digestive medicine on hand, why she always smelled of Sinsin pain-relief patches.
My stomach's still uneasy, but since I have to take medicine I figured I should eat something, so I made this #pumpkinsoup
