Brand B's whole-wheat health soybean bread - it seems good for you and tastes good too, but when I made the sandwich and cut it in half, it crumbled to pieces. For tomato basil sandwiches, I think it's better to give up on health and use soft, chewy white milk bread instead.
450kcal, Tomato Basil Sandwich.
Ingredients
2 slices white bread, 2 tomatoes, a handful of basil, 2T mayonnaise, 1t balsamic vinegar, 1T hemp seeds, a good pinch of salt, a good pinch of pepper
Steps
1. Wash the 2 tomatoes under running water and cut into bite-sized pieces. Remove the seeds and pulp.
2. Chop a handful of basil.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the tomato from step 1, basil from step 2, 2T mayonnaise, 1t balsamic vinegar, 1T hemp seeds, a good pinch of salt, and a good pinch of pepper, and mix evenly.
4. (Thinking of my health, instead of milk bread) top the fermented whole-wheat soybean bread with the tomato basil salad from step 2.
